Our work is rooted in a quiet philosophy: building with a gentle footprint. We approach each space through the careful calibration of color and light, using them as primary tools to anchor geometries, define spatial organization, and establish an intentional environmental atmosphere. We believe that thoughtful architecture respects both the human scale and the natural world, creating enduring spaces through restraint, craft, and environmental consciousness.
Founded by Renee Ferguson, Little Boxes Studio Architects is based in New York City. Renee holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, and is a registered architect in New York and Massachusetts, as well as a Certified Passive House Designer and Tradesperson.
